“Crazy in Love with VIM” Day Party Honoring Dr. Akilah Jamila Pope a Success!!

During the month of September, Dr. Akilah Jamila Pope raised awareness about Volunteers in Medicine and the vital services they provide for the working uninsured. On Saturday September 30th she hosted a "Crazy in Love with VIM" DAY PARTY Focusing on Health and Wellness at UF Health. Over 30 were in attendance to enjoy "Lemonade" spritzers and some hors d'oeuvres. Dr. Rob Thomas, Outreach Manager at VIM presented the "Renaissance" Report, a motivating and informative discussion on health and wellness. Over $4,000 was raised during Dr. Pope’s month.
