Heart of Jacksonville Necklace!

With a $100 donation to Volunteers in Medicine, you will have a chance to win the Women with Heart "Heart of Jacksonville" S.E. Joseph Jewelers necklace. The necklace, valued at $6,500, features 20 diamonds totaling 2.00cts 14K white gold and 18 inches in length.  2nd through 6th places win a Kendra Scott Ari Heart Necklace. Only 150 tickets will be sold, you do not need to be present to win. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Florida Blue Conference Center.

While we are so thankful for the monetary gifts we receive we are equally as thankful for items donated to us that help enhance our patient care. Please note that there are things that VIM can and cannot accept. If you have any questions about your donated item please reach out to us to coordinate the donation at (904) 399-2766 x117#.

Items we cannot accept:

  2. Expired and/or opened medications

  3. Pediatric supplies

  4. Adult depends

  5. Wound care supplies

  6. Stoma dressings

  7. Syringes/needles

  8. IV tubing, IV fluids

  9. CPAP Machines

  10. Empty pill bottles

  11. Tube feeding supplies

  12. Wheelchairs

  13. Walkers

  14. Chemo drugs

  15. Bone stimulators

  16. Custom-made orthopedic gear

  17. Narcotics (pain medications such as Lortab)

  18. Hospital Beds

Items we can accept:

  1. Gift cards in $20 or $25 increments for CVS, Walgreens, Publix, Walmart, Target or Gas Cards

  2. AA and AAA Batteries

  3. Band aids

  4. Kleenex

  5. Hand Soap

  6. Certain medications that are unexpired and sealed

  7. Relion Premier brand diabetic strips

  8. Lancets

 

For every $1 donated, we provide $3 worth of care.
