First Screening of Beyond Triathlon a Success

On Saturday October 12th the University of North Florida hosted the community for a documentary screening of "BEYOND TRIATHLON" a film that showcases the inspiring journeys of women who have shaped the sports world and continue to lead in their communities. The film spotlights trailblazers like Co-Founder of Volunteers in Medicine- Dottie Dorion, Celeste Callahan, Nancy Hogshead, Mayor Donna Deegan and is narrated by Sika Henry. The documentary is directed and produced by Chuck Malkus (Netflix 2021 series Heist, Discovery ID Guilty Rich, ESPN Pin Kings, CNBC American Greed) and Brian Bayerl (Showtime’s The Circus: Inside The Greatest Political Show on Earth, Paramount’s The Day The Music Died, and Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami.). 100 % of proceeds will benefit UNF Female Athletes.
