West Jacksonville Family Fun and Outreach Day March 4th 10am-1pm
Volunteers in Medicine Jacksonville (VIM) is celebrating 20 years of health and healing in Jacksonville by once again expanding its free services. On Saturday, March 4, 2023, the VIM team invites the community to join its medical staff and volunteers at VIM’s West Jacksonville clinic for a day of celebration and family fun from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will provide the public with an opportunity to tour the facility and enjoy festivities, food, and giveaways for the whole family.
During the public health pandemic, VIM not only maintained full-service operations at its urban core clinic but expanded into its first satellite clinic on Timuquana Road. “As the U.S. moves toward ending the public health emergency status of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a great time to revitalize our services and remind the public that we’re welcoming new patients,” said Jennifer Ryan, MPH, CEO of VIM Jacksonville.
The Westside Clinic is located on the Inspire to Rise campus at 5927 Old Timuquana Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210. The regular hours of service are Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. VIM offers free comprehensive primary care with a designated team of health care professionals and includes access to specialty care, transportation options, and walk-in appointments to existing patients.
